GCSE Results 2016

St Clement’s High School is pleased to report that under the government’s new progress measure for GCSE results we have achieved a very positive 0.5.

This measure considers the progress of all students and shows that the progress of our students is the best it has ever been. Headteacher Nigel Willingham said “It is great to see our students doing so well against the new national performance measure, it shows that more students than ever before have made good progress during their time with us.” The chair of Governors Ed Weightman said “The students and staff have worked exceptionally hard and we are very proud of the year group”

St Clement’s High School achieved 52% A* -C in English and Maths which is the second best result in the school’s history. English recorded their best ever result, with 83% achieving A*-C. Sam Thorpe was the school’s highest performing boy, achieving six A* grades and five A grades. Ella Doughty was the highest performing girl achieving three A* grades and five A grades.
